2024 SEVEN DAYSIES NOMINEES FOR BEST ROCK GROUP, BEST POP GROUP & BEST VOCALIST

Pop rock band based in Vermont. With powerful female vocals and an energetic, sometimes hard-hitting sound, Embers in Umbra brings a mix of originals and fun covers to the stage that will move you. The band consists of Bri Lucas (vocals), Matt Sicard (rhythm guitar), Justin Bachand (lead guitar), Jay Cerutti (bass) and Anthony Girelli (drums). 

Bri, Matt and Anthony officially formed the band in early 2023. Jay joined the group in May of 2023, and Justin joined the group in June of 2024. The band self-published their debut album "Phases" in February, 2024. In early May, the band was nominated for 3 "Best of Vermont" Seven Daysies awards in the Best Rock Group, Best Pop Group and Best Vocalist categories. In June, the band was a top finalist in a Battle of the Bands run by Vermont radio stations Frank FM, The Penguin and Froggy.
